Bettke came off the bench in two Hawk victories, helping lead New Paltz to a 2-1 week that gave the team a share of first place in the SUNYAC standings. For the week, she averaged 16.0 points per game off 71.4 percent (10-of-14) shooting from the floor, including a scorching 70 percent (7-of-10) clip from beyond the arc. Bettke also shot 83.3 percent (5-of-6) from the line and averaged three rebounds per game, 1.5 assists per game and 1.5 steals per game. After sitting out during a 69-63 loss to SUNY Cortland on Tuesday, she erupted for 20 points, three steals and three assists in a 77-56 victory over The College at Brockport on Friday. She then followed that performance up with 12 points on a perfect 4-of-4 shooting from 3-point range, helping lift New Paltz to a 62-57 triumph over previous SUNYAC leader SUNY Geneseo on Saturday. For the season, she is averaging 5.4 points per game off 52 percent (13-of-25) shooting from the floor and 52.9 percent (9-of-17) shooting from 3-point range.
