Griger won two individual events and participated an event-winning relay in a 161.5-100.5 win over Catskill Cup rival SUNY Oneonta on Saturday. Individually, she won the 200 freestyle (1:58.93) and the 500 freestyle (5:19.01). Griger also swam the anchor leg on New Paltz's first-place 400 medley relay, which clocked a 4:11.40. On the season, Griger ranks first in the SUNYAC in the 100 freestyle (53.49), first in the SUNYAC in the 200 freestyle (1:55.91) and second in the SUNYAC in the 500 freestyle (5:08.12), with all of those top performances coming at the MIT Winter Invitational in December. New Paltz (5-1) hosts SUNY Geneseo in its final tune-up before the SUNYAC Championships on Saturday, Jan. 30, at 1 p.m.
