Bettke drained a season-high 20 points off 8-of-12 shooting from the floor and added two rebounds, one steal and one assist in the Hawks' 93-75 loss to Rowan University in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament on Friday night in Glassboro, N.J. For the season, Bettke averaged 6.0 points per game and shot 40.7 percent (50-of-123) from the field. New Paltz finished its season at 21-7 overall (14-4 SUNYAC) and won its second-ever SUNYAC title.
