Husmann helped lead the Hawks to a 5-0 week, including 2-0 in UVC action, and picked up wins against nationally ranked Juniata College, Dominican (Ill.) University and New York University. The junior middle blocker hit .714 (21-1-28) and tallied 2.10 kills per set on the week. In the 3-0 sweep over No. 15 Juniata on Saturday, Husmann notched six kills to hit .857 (6-0-7) and collected five services aces before closing out the day with another .857 clip as the Hawks defeated No. 7 Dominican in three straight sets. On Sunday against UVC foe and No. 13 NYU, Husmann had nine kills to hit .571 (9-1-14) while defending four digs and collecting three block assists. The Hawks (19-2, 5-0 UVC) return to action on Wednesday, March 9, when they go head-to-head with No 1-ranked Springfield College at 6 p.m. in the Hawk Center.
