Stybel allowed two runs off six hits, two walks and struck out six batters in 6 2/3 innings of work in the Hawks' 5-4 conference loss against No. 13 SUNY Oswego on Saturday. In the Hawks' 7-3 victory over The College at Old Westbury on Tuesday, the freshman right-hander did not allow a run or a hit off the nine batters he faced in three innings to earn his second save on the mound. Stybel has seen action in seven games so far this season and is currently 1-0 on the rubber with a 1.77 ERA. The Hawks (11-9-2, 4-5 SUNYAC) return to action on Friday, April 8, when they host SUNY Fredonia at 3 p.m.
