Corwin fashioned a 1.94 ERA and a 2-1 record in a 3-5 week for the Hawks. She also struck out 10 batters. In the back end of a doubleheader against SUNY Oneonta on Tuesday, she allowed two unearned runs in one inning of work in the Hawks' 8-0 loss in five innings. On Wednesday, she yielded just one unearned run in a complete-game, 4-1 victory in the back end of a twinbill against Mount Saint Mary College. Corwin once again permitted just one unearned run while striking out five in a complete-game, 9-1 triumph over The College at Brockport in game two of a doubleheader on Friday before giving up five runs in four innings pitched in a 10-3 loss to SUNY Geneseo on Saturday. On the season, Corwin ranks second on the team with a 3.90 ERA and 21 strikeouts. New Paltz (15-14, 6-6 SUNYAC) next faces SUNY Potsdam on Wednesday, April 27, in a 4 p.m. neutral-site doubleheader at the Hopkins Sports Complex in Liverpool, N.Y.
