SUNY New Paltz Athletics

Junior Lee Bertram averaged 13 points and 8.7 rebounds on the week as the Hawks went 3-0. New Paltz improved to 7-6 overall and 4-1 in conference play. The Hawks defeated Keene State earlier in the week followed by their first back-to back conference wins since 2003 (home or away). Bertram posted his first double-double of the season with a 15 point, 12 rebound performance against Morrisville. The 12 rebounds tied his career high for a single game. He then followed with 15 points and eight rebounds in the win over Geneseo.
