Roessler helped lead the Hawks to the Sweet 16 of the 2017 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament this weekend, as she tallied a career-high 25 points off the bench, going 7-of-14 from the field and 9-of-9 from the charity stripe against Ithaca on Saturday. Roessler scored 18 points in the first half and notched the game-winning three-pointer with 1:10 remaining. The senior also had seven boards and two steals in the win. Against No. 19 Bowdoin on Friday, the senior tallied nine points and seven boards off the bench in the 62-61 win. Roessler and the Hawks will take on UMass-Dartmouth at Amherst on Friday night in the Sweet 16.
