Running in his first 8K of the season at the Hawks' home invitational Friday, senior Jake Meyers burst out and stayed ahead to land himself his first, first-place finish of the season after clocking in at 27 minutes, 42 seconds in a tough, hilly course at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome on Friday, Sept. 17.
