DiPreta arguably had his best weekend of his young Hawks career in wins over The College at Brockport and SUNY Genseo on Sept. 24 and 25, respectively. Against the Golden Eagles, he put away a first-half penalty kick to tie the game at one going into halftime. He then whipped in the free kick that resulted in the go-ahead goal for SUNY New Paltz in the second half that pushed the Hawks to a 2-1 win and first victory over Brockport since 2012, and first of the regular season since 2007. In a 2-0 win over the Knights, the freshman midfielder again played in a set-piece resulting in a goal, this time off an early corner in the 17th-minute that was headed in by teammate Tim Kane to give his team a 1-0 cushion and help in the eventual two goal victory.
