The Hawks had one of their best defensive performances against Buffalo State and Fredonia Thursday and Friday, keeping both teams to season-low's in points in 60-35 and 49-38 wins, respectively. In the low-scoring affairs, Fitzgerald helped carry the offensive load, averaging 13 points on the weekend. In 25 minutes against the Bengals, Fitzgerald totaled 12 points and led the team with three steals to go along with two rebounds and an assist in the win. She then recorded a game-high 14 points on 50 percent shooting from the field against the Blue Devils and was four rebounds shy of a double-double. Fitzgerald also chipped in with an assist and one steal in just 22 minutes.
