Varner helped the Hawks win two important conference games this past week. In their first conference game of the season, Varner scored the only goal leading to a 1-0 win over Plattsburgh State. At Fredonia, Varner contributed by scoring another goal resulting in a 3-2 win against the Blue Devils.
