Sophomore forward Jayquan Anderson help led the Hawks to their first victory over Cortland in nine years and a 2-1 record on the week. He finished with a game-high 18 points, five rebounds, two assists and three steals. He was a career best 12-of-13 from the free throw line. In the Buffalo State victory, he finished with a double-double, 17 points (7-of-10 free throw line) and a career and game-high of 15 rebounds with two blocks and three steals. In the loss to Fredonia, he finished with 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting and had five rebounds, two blocks and a steal.
