Scott Scheppy took over in the second where he then pitched 3.1, giving up just a hit with two strikeotus as he captured his first win as a Hawk.
SUNY New Paltz took an early 1-0 lead as a lead off walk by

Dillon Ristano. Ristano and Apicella both scored on wild pitches, as Richetti added to the damage with a two-out double to plate
Matt Sarni to cap the stretch with SUNY New Paltz holding a comfortable, 7-1 lead.
FDU-Florham gained two back in the bottom half, but the Hawks' offense kept going in the fifth, highlighted by a two-RBI base hit by Kreider to bring the score to 9-3. SUNY New Paltz continued adding on, while its pitching staff did its job limiting the Devils to just two hits and two walks in the final five innings.
