Athlete Top Times
2017-18: Won the Division III National Championship in the 200 yards fly on Mar. 23 with a time of 1:46.45. Swept his three events at the SUNYAC Championships, placing first in the 200 yards fly (1:49.01), 200 yards IM (1:50.09), and 400 yards IM (3:59.67). Placed first in 21 regular season events this year. He met NCAA B-cut qualifications for the 400 IM and 200 fly, and set a new conference and program record in the 400 IM and 200 IM. For his efforts, Knapp was named SUNYAC Men's Swimmer of the Year and once again received First Team All-SUNYAC honors. Was named the SUNYAC Swimmer of the Week three times, was named the SUNYAC Swimmer of the Year, and also garnered the Floyd Patterson Award from SUNY New Paltz, as their best overall male athlete.
2016-17: Named the SUNYAC Rookie of the Year. Named to the All-SUNYAC first team. Finished first at the SUNYAC Championships in the 200 Y fly and the 100 Y back swims with times of 1:51.48 and 50.37. Placed second at the SUNYAC Championships in the 100 Y fly and back swims. Placed first in the 200 Y fly and the 100 Y back swims against Oneonta State on Jan. 18. Placed first in the 200 Y IM swim against SUNY Maritime on Feb. 4.
Prior to NP: 2016 graduate of Glens Falls High School.
