2021: Appeared in relief in four games, with one save... earned a spot on the SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor-Roll.

High School Accolades: MVP Award winner (2018) at Glen Douglas Macarthur Senior High School... Golden Spikes Award recipient (2017)… three-time Principal Honor-Roll (2017-2020).

Personal: From Wantagh, NY… graduated from Glen Douglas Macarthur Senior High School in 2020… older brother, Rob Jr, played baseball and competed in track from 2010-2015 at Queens College and Post University… enjoys playing basketball, video games, and hanging out with friends… son of Maureen and Rob Gaertner Sr.
