Biography
2009-10: Second-Team All-SUNYAC… Named team's MVP… SUNYAC Commissioner’s List and All-Academic Team member… Placed third in the 500 freestyle (5:09.88) and second in both the 200 freestyle (1:54.96) and the 200 backstroke (2:09.60) at the SUNYAC Championships… Her 200 freestyle performance met NCAA provisional qualification… Provided a strong 52.18 100 freestyle split in the 400 medley relay, helping New Paltz take second in 3:58.44 at SUNYACs in NCAA provisional time… That 400 medley relay quartet eclipsed the program record in the process… Anchored the Hawks’ second-place 200 medley relay (1:48.90) at the conference meet in 23.83… New Paltz’s 200 medley relay also cleared the NCAA provisional cut… Also was a member of New Paltz’s second-place 800 freestyle relay (7:59.03) and second-place 400 freestyle relay (3:36.37) at SUNYACs… Uncorked a season-best in the 100 freestyle (53.72) leading off that 400 freestyle relay team.
2008-09: Named MVP for the Hawks... Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 200 freestyle, the 200 backstroke and the 500 freestyle... At NCAAs, she finished 21st in the 200 freestyle, 32nd in the 200 backstroke and 50th in the 500 freestyle... Finished second in the 500 freestyle at SUNYACs with a time of 5:05.47, which is best all-time in school history... Touched third in both the 200 freestyle and the 200 backstroke at SUNYACs... Member of four Hawk relays at SUNYACs (the 400 medley relay, the 200 medley relay, the 800 free relay and 400 free relay)... Set school records in the 400 freestyle relay (3:32.91) and the 800 freetyle relay (7:49.78).
2007-08: Garnered Second-Team All-SUNYAC honors.... Finished third in the 200 free (1:57.75), eighth in the 200 back (2:16.72) and second in the 500 free (5:17.08) at the SUNYAC meet… Captured second in the 400 freestyle relay in a varsity record time of 3:33.51… Took third in the 800 free relay in 8:06.38… Selected to the SUNYAC All-Academic Team.
Prior to NP: 2007 graduate of Toms River High School East… All-Shore, All County and MVP.
