SUNY New Paltz Athletics

2011: Started in nine of the 12 games in which he played… Achieved a .290 batting average, going 9-for-31 on the season… Had three RBI and drew one walk… Recorded a .984 fielding percentage, gathering 57 putouts and three assists in 61 total chances… Enjoyed a multi-hit game against Western Connecticut State University in the back end of a doubleheader on March 23, going 2-for-3… Scored twice against St. Joseph’s (LI) College on April 20.

2010: Appeared in 33 games, making 32 starts… Hit .290 in 131 at-bats with 20 RBI and 12 runs scored… Drove in three runs against Baruch College on March 19… Went 3-for-3 in the back end of a doubleheader against Briarcliffe College on April 3… Collected three RBI in the front end of a doubleheader against SUNY Fredonia on May 1… Batted 3-for-5 in the second game of that May 1 twinbill versus the Blue Devils.

Prior to NP: 2009 graduate of Valley Central High School... Earned the 2008 Mike Purcell Award and the Mike Purcell Memorial Scholarship... Also a six-time Scholar-Athlete of New York State.
