Women’s gymnastics was offered as an intercollegiate sport at New Paltz from at least 1973-74 until at least 1982-83. Information on the gymnastics team is very scarce, limited to very infrequent media articles and occasional references in the Paltzonian yearbook. What is known is that physical education professor Nancy Stanich served as the coach of the team during its tenure on campus and that the teams that represented New Palt were very small in the number of participants.
