2012: Started in eight of his nine appearances, posting a 1.84 ERA and a 1-4 record… He threw three complete games in 53.2 innings of work, striking out 63 batters… Held opponents to a .189 batting… In his first start of the season against Salisbury, he lasted seven innings while striking out without allowing a run to score... In a start against St. Lawrence, he also lasted seven innings and struck out seven without an earned run on six hits... He struck out a season-high 14 batters in a no-decision against Oneonta over nine innings of work, allowing two earned runs on four hits.
2011: SUNYAC Don Axtell Pitcher of the Year… ECAC Division III Upstate Baseball Pitcher of the Year… First-Team All-SUNYAC… Earned New Paltz’s Floyd Patterson Award, which is awarded annually to the school’s most outstanding male student-athlete… SUNYAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week (3/14/11, 4/25/11)… ECAC Division III Upstate Co-Baseball Pitcher of the Week (4/26/11)... Named team’s MVP… Ranked among the SUNYAC leaders in opposing batting average (.176, first), strikeouts (78, third), games started (10, tied for third) and wins (6, fifth)… Led the Hawks in all four of those statistical categories and also pitched a team-best four complete games and logged a team-high 61 1/3 innings on the hill… Was credited with two solo shutouts and one shared shutout… Finished the season ranked seventh in NCAA Division III in strikeouts per nine innings (11.45), 10th in Division III in hits allowed per nine innings (5.58) and tied for 39th nationally in strikeouts… Kicked off his 2011 campaign with a complete-game shutout against the SUNY College at Old Westbury on March 12, scattering four hits while striking out nine… Tossed a season-high 12 strikeouts in a 1-0 win over SUNY Fredonia on April 22… Earned the winning decision in the Hawks’ 3-2 victory over then-No. 11 SUNY Cortland in the back end of a doubleheader, going seven full innings while yielding two runs off four hits and three walks.
2010: Appeared in 12 games as a pitcher… Had a record of 2-1 with a 4.96 ERA… Led the team in strikeouts with 70… Logged 49 innings… Ranked second in NCAA Division III in strikeouts per nine innings (12.86)… Threw one complete game on the season, which came in program-record-setting fashion on April 19 against SUNY Oswego… He struck out 20 Laker batters, which set a program mark… During that game, he allowed just one run on three hits.
