SUNY New Paltz Athletics

Vasquez entered his first year as the SUNY New Paltz cross country assistant coach during the 2019 season.

Vasquez, a SUNY New Paltz alum ('17), starred on the Hawks men's cross country team during his four years at SUNY New Paltz. He graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor’s in physical education, with a philosophy minor. During his senior season at New Paltz he was named to both Third-Team All-SUNYAC and USTFCCCA All-Region.

Vasquez holds the school record for best 8K time, running a 25:03.3 at the 2016 NCAA Regionals meet.
