2018: Smith opened up the season placing ninth overall at the Vassar Season Starter and fourth overall at the Ron Stonitsch Invite… placed 13th overall with a time of 27:02.5 at the Bill Fritz Invite… clocked in with a time of 27:06.9, placing 168th overall at the Paul Short Invite… placed 42nd overall at the SUNYAC Championships after finishing with a time of 31:18.5… ended the season with the 107 th place finish after coming in with a time of 28:26… earned a spot on the 2018-19 SUNYAC Academic Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2017: Smith led the Hawks in 2018 with three top-30 finishes throughout the year. He began the season placing second overall at the Vassar College Opener with a time of 13 minutes, 0.8 seconds and followed up with a 27
th overall finish at the Ron Stonitsch Invitational after crossing in 20:13. On the 8K courses at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational, the 2017 Saratoga Invitational and Connecticut College Invitational, Smith recorded times of 26:02.2 (20
th overall), 26:22 (26
th overall) and 26:29.2 (39
th overall), respectively. At the SUNYAC Championship meet, Smith placed 47
th overall with a time of 29:11.3 and then concluded his season with a time of 26:19.8 to place 92
nd overall at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Region meet.
2016: Placed 35
th of 114 at the SUNYAC Championships (26:59.4)… Posted a time of 26:07.0 at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships (82
nd of 303)… Ran a season-low 8k time of 25:54.5 at the Hobart and William Smith Colleges Invitational (fourth of 119)… Finished 50
th of 172 at the Saratoga Invitational (27:37.6)… Placed 40
th of 238 at the Vassar Invitational (20:22.5)… Ran 13:12.4 at the Vassar Season Opener (second of 26).
2015: Placed 32nd of 119 at the SUNYAC Championships (26:45.3)... Posted a time of 26:28.12 at the Rowan Invitational (97th of 231)... Turned in a time of 27:54 at the Paul Short Run (297th of 354)... Ran 20:19.1 at the RPI Invitational (65th of 302)... placed second of 24 in the New Paltz Two-Miler with a time of 9:48.4.
