2024-25: Samko took bronze in the 200 fly with a time of 1:56.41 earning a third place finish at the SUNYAC Championship meet in Buffalo, NY. He earned silver in the 100-yard butterfly touching second with a time of 50.69. He earned bronze in the men's 50-yard freestyle touching with a time of 21.24. Earlier in the season Samko touched first at Oneonta with a time of 22.60 in the men's 50-yard freestyle. He also took first in the 100 fly with a time of 55.06. He touched thirteenth in their mid-season meet with a time of 52.97 in the 100 fly. 

2023-24: Placed seventh overall in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52.23 and 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:58.83 at the SUNYAC Championships… set a personal best time of 21.42 in the 50-yard freestyle at the SUNYAC Championships… tallied top-three finishes against Cortland Jan. 13 in the 100-fly (third) and 200-fly (third), against Skidmore Nov. 18 in the 100-fly (third), against Adelphi Nov. 3 in the 100-fly (third) and against Union Oct. 28 in the 100-fly (second)… earned a spot on the SUNYAC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll… landed on the Hawks Academic Honor Roll for the spring 2024 semester.

High School Accolades: Junior Year . Played for my High School Varsity Soccer Team . Was on the Varsity swim team . Placed 5th in the 50 free and 9th in the 100 free at sectionals . Competed on the varsity track and field team . Placed 2nd at State-qualifiers in the pentathlon Senior Year . was on the Varsity Swim team and placed 2nd in the 50 free and 3rd in the 100 fly at sectionals, hitting the NYS cut times in both and competing at states . Ran varsity track and field and placed 2nd in the Pentathlon at State-qualifiers

Personal: Stone Ridge, NY...Graduated from Rondout Valley High School in 2023...enjoys making art, mountain biking, running, coaching, and loves the MMA...Son of Ivana and Palo Samko
