2018-19: Set a personal record in the 100 freestyle at the SUNYAC Championships after clocking in at 48.38… was a part of the Hawks’ third-place finishing 300-yard freestyle relay team at the SUNYAC Championships… placed first and third in the 400 individual medley and 100 freestyle, respectively vs. SUNY Oneonta Jan. 26… placed first overall in the 200 individual medley vs. Ramapo College Dec. 8… collected three second-place finishes in the 100 and 200 breaststroke and 200 individual medley vs. Hamilton Nov. 17… earned a spot on the 2018-19 SUNYAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2017-18: Placed second Nov. 17 against Vassar in the 1,650 freestyle and 200 individual medley... set personal bests in the 50 freestyle (23.37), 200 freestyle (1:51.46), 1,000 freestyle (10:32.87), 1,650 freestyle (17:44.83), 50-yard backstroke (34.39), 200 backstroke (2:16.28), and 200 breastroke (2:29.00)... named to the SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
2016-17: Placed fifth in the 400 Y IM swim at the SUNYAC Championships with a time of 4:17.83. Placed ninth in the 200 Y IM swim at the SUNYAC Championships with a time of 1:57.89. Finished first in the 100 Y free swim against SUNY Maritime on Feb. 4 with a time of 51.04.
High School Accolades: 2015 graduate of Newburgh Free Academy. States Competition (2014, 2015).
Personal: Graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in 2015… Son of Regina and John Galante… Enjoys gaming and playing the piano.
