2023-24: Recorded a personal best time in the 50-yard freestyle at the SUNYAC Championships with a time of 22.19 (finishing 18th overall)… set a personal best time in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 50.67 at the TCNJ Invitational… had top-four finishes against Cortland Jan. 13 in the 100-back (fourth), Skidmore Nov. 18 in the 100-free (fourth) and 50-free (third) and Adelphi in the 50-back (fourth) and 100-back (fourth)… earned a spot on the SUNYAC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll… landed on the Hawks Academic Honor Roll for the fall 2023 semester... enshrined into the Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society. 

2022-23: Earned All SUNYAC 3rd Team honors…placed 10th in the 100 backstroke (:55.79) and 13th in the 200 backstroke (2:05.32), member of 200 freestyle relay (5th), 200 medley relay (3rd), 400 medley relay (3rd) at SUNYAC Championships…scored first places finishes in 50m backstroke (Baruch/Sarah Lawrence), 200 backstroke (Vassar), and 200 freestyle (Hartwick)...finished third in 50 freestyle (Adelphi), 100 backstroke (Vassar, Cortland/Buffalo State) and 50m butterfly (Baruch/Sarah Lawrence)...at the TCNJ Invitational finished 14th in 200 backstroke, 16th in 100 backstroke, part of eighth place 200 medley relay, ninth place 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay and 10th place 400 medley relay…recorded personal bests: 50 freestyle (:22.80), 50 backstroke (:25.80), 100 backstroke (:56.48), 200 backstroke (2:05.32) and 200 freestyle (1:56.58)...earned spot on 2023 SUNYAC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.

2021-22: Placed 13th in both the 100 backstroke (57.04) and 200 backstroke (2:06.21) at the SUNYAC Championships…finished second vs Western CT in 50 freestyle…finished third in 100 freestyle vs Oneotna…at TCNJ Invitational, finished 14th in 100 backstroke…recorded five personal bests: 100 backstroke (57.04), 200 backstroke (2:05.80), 100 freestyle (51.73), 50 freestyle (23.04), and 50 backstroke (27.85)… named to the 2022 SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll… earned a spot on the Hawks Academic Honor Roll for the fall 2021 and spring 2022 semesters.

High School Accolades: Swam at Binghamton High School… 5th place in 200-yard freestyle at 2021 Section IV Class A Championships (1:58.9)... 7th place in 100-yard backstroke at 2021 Section IV Class A Championships (1:01.13)... 3rd place in 400-yard freestyle relay split at 2020 Section IV Class A Championships (53.58)... swam 100-yard backstroke at 2020 Section IV Class A Championships preliminaries 100-yard backstroke (1:00.33). 

Personal: From Binghamton, NY… graduated from Binghamton High School in 2021… enjoys drawing, painting, and running... son of David and Phyllis Castner.
