Biography

2023: Started in 11 out of 15 games played…totaled a .190 batting average…had a .634 OPS, a .357 slugging average, and a .277 on base percentage…totaled eight hits, five runs, and four RBIs…stole three bases and had one home run…defensively had 24 catches, 20 putouts, and three assists.

2022: Started all 36 games played… had a .287 batting average… with an OPS of .787, slugging percentage of .434 and an on base percentage of .353… tied for first (39) hits, 17 runs and 26 RBI… ranked third with eight doubles… ranked second with four home runs… had 136 at-bats and 11 walks… defensively had 95 catches, 91 put-outs and three assists for a fielding percentage of .989… earned a spot on the Hawks Academic Honor Roll for the fall 2021 and spring 2022 semesters.

High School Accolades: Lettered in JV baseball and basketball in 2015 at Deer Park High School… three-year letterman in varsity baseball and basketball (2016-2019). 

Personal: From Deer Park, NY… graduated from Deer Park High School in 2018… previously attended Concordia College, starring on the baseball team from 2019-2021… enjoys playing basketball in his spare time… mom, Michelle, starred on the SUNY Farmingdale softball team in 1991…. son of Michelle and Albert Rios.
