SUNY New Paltz Athletics

2022: Placed 84th in a time of 35:19.7 at the SUNYAC Championship… best season 6K finish of fifth place at the New Paltz Invitational in 28:22.2… season’s best 6K time of 26:33.0 at the Connecticut College Invitational-White… earned a spot on the SUNYAC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll for the second consecutive year.

2021: Placed 73rd overall at the SUNYAC Championships after crossing 30:32.0... fastest 6K time of the season came at the NCAA Regionals, finishing in 27:57.7 for 160th overall... had her best standing of the season at the Mount Saint Mary College Invitational at 20th overall with a time of 29:28.9… named to the 2022 SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll… earned a spot on the Hawks Academic Honor Roll for the fall 2021 and spring 2022 semesters.

High School Accolades: 10K Classic Scholarship recipient (2021) at Middletown High School... Major Award recipient (2020-2021)… 2019 Cross Country MVP and 2018 Most Improved Player... four-time Scholar Athlete (2018-2021).

Personal: From Middletown, NY… graduated from Middletown High School in 2021… enjoys going to the gym, watching Netflix, listening to music and hiking… a member of the National Honor Society… daughter of Diana and Sandy Gonzalez. 

Fun Fact: “I have been to about five different countries, which includes the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Belize, Bahamas, and Canada.”
