Athlete Top Times:

2023-24: Placed eighth overall in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:22.36 at the SUNYAC Championships… set personal best times in the 50-yard butterfly (29.67) and the 200-yard individual medley (2:23.43) at the SUNYAC Championships… secured a first-place finish against Cortland Jan. 13 in the 200-IM (2:30.37) and tallied a second-place finish in the 200-fly (2:29.96) at the meet while placing fourth in the 200-fly (2:25.91) at the TCNJ Invitational… earned a spot on the SUNYAC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll… landed on the Hawks Academic Honor Roll for both the fall 2023 and spring 2024 semesters... enshrined into the Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society. 

2022-23: Placed 12th in the 200 butterfly (2:25.49) at the SUNYAC Championships…scored first place finish in the 10 butterfly (Adelphi)...finished second in the 200 butterfly (Adelphi)...recorded personal bests: 50 butterfly (:29.67), 100 butterfly (1:05.85)...earned a spot on the 2023 SUNYAC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.

2021-22: Placed 10th in the 200 butterfly (2:23.89) and 14th in the 400 individual medley (5:14.88) at the SUNYAC Championships…first place finish in the 200 butterfly (Hartwick/Oneonta Tri-Meet)...second place in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke (Western CT)...third place finish in the 100 butterfly (Hartwick/Oneonta Tri-Meet) and 200 butterfly (Vassar)... at the TCNJ Invitational placed third in the 400 individual medley and ninth in the 200 butterfly…recorded personal best: 200 butterfly (2:23.86)… named to the 2022 SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll… earned a spot on the Hawks Academic Honor Roll for the spring 2022 semester.

High School Accolades: Four-year varsity swimmer at the Mary Louis Academy and three-time Scholar-Athlete (2018-2020)… 10th place finisher in 2019 at the the NSCHSGAA (Nassau Suffolk County High School Girls Athletic Association) Championships… member of Mary Louis swim team that set a school record for most points ever at the NSCHSGAA Championships (2019). 

Personal: From Oakland Gardens, NY…graduated from the Mary Louis Academy in 2021… enjoys running…part of the American Sign Language Club...daughter of Marcelo Sandoval and Maria Lorena Pedernera.
