Biography
2023-24: Named SUNYAC Second-Team Singles… earned a spot on the SUNYAC All-Tournament team… went 7-0 in singles play within the conference at either third or fourth singles spot, giving up just 18 points in league play… overall went 10-7 in singles play… sweeping once on the year, a 6-0, 6-0 win over RIT at fourth singles on April 21 against RIT… competed at both second and third doubles going 9-8 overall… went 7-0 at third doubles in SUNYAC play… finishes career 18-2 in singles play and 10-0 in doubles against SUNYAC competition… earned a spot on the Hawks Academic Honor Roll for both the fall 2023 and spring 2024 semesters… named to the 2024 SUNYAC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll... enshrined into the Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society.
2022-23: Returned to play for the spring 2023 season…earned ALL SUNYAC Second Doubles honors…named to the SUNYAC Championship All Tournament Doubles team with Onalee Batcheller…went 3-4 (including 0-1 against Division One competition) at the number four singles position…partnering with Onalee Batcheller, went 3-5 in doubles play (0-2 against Division One competition)...at the SUNYAC Championships, had one win and one unfinished game at number four singles and scored two wins at number two doubles with Onalee Batcheller to capture the SUNYAC championship at second doubles... earned NCAA DIII first round win in number two doubles with Onalee Batcheller against Mary Washington University…lost in NCAA DIII second round to 7th ranked Amherst in number two doubles and number four singles…earned a spot on the 2023 SUNYAC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
2020-21: Named SUNYAC Rookie of the Year and named to All-SUNYAC First Team... 6-0 conference singles record, playing three games in fourth-position singles and three games in fifth-position... 9-2 record overall, winning two matches 6-0, 6-0 (season-opener April 14 vs. Cortland, April 24 at Cortland)... did not concede one point in six-of-twelve regular season singles sets played... went 3-0 in doubles play in SUNYAC... only losses of the season (one singles match, one doubles match) were in NCAA Championships… named to the 2022 SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll… earned a spot on the Hawks Academic Honor Roll for the fall 2021 and spring 2022 semesters.
High School Accolades: Three-time Student Scholar Service (2017-2020) at St. Mary’s High School.... Two-time National Honors Society and Spanish National Honors Society (2018-2020).
Personal: From Port Washington, NY… graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 2020… enjoys painting, reading, and writing… daughter of Carl and Janice Barnett.
