SUNY New Paltz Athletics

2012: Started in 32 of the 34 games in which he played…Had  a .276 batting average (32-for-116) with six walks and eight hit by pitches for an on-base percentage of .348… Scored 18 runs and picked up 17 RBI… Stole five bases on six attempts… Went 3-for-5 against Oneonta with one double and one RBI… He went 2-for-2 against Western Connecticut, driving in three runs behind a double and two walks.

2011: SUNYAC Commissioner’s List and All-Academic Team member… Started in all 34 games in which he played… Batted .296 (37-for-125) and stole four bases in four attempts… Posted a team-high seven sacrifice bunts… Collected six doubles, one triple and 13 RBI… Drew seven walks and was issued a free pass by a hit by pitch on four occasions… Had a .968 fielding percentage, notching 59 putouts and one assist… Went 3-for-4 with three runs scored in the front end of a doubleheader against Plymouth State University on March 22… Batted 4-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBI versus Vassar College on April 14… Had a 3-for-5 performance at the plate with two runs scored and a double against SUNY Fredonia on April 24.

2010: SUNYAC Clark Whited Rookie of the Year... Appeared in 23 games as a position player and saw action on the mound on four occasions… Hit .418 in 79 at-bats with two home runs, 17 RBI and 24 runs scored… Drove in a season-high three RBI on March 20 against Norwich University… Went 3-for-3 against St. Joseph’s (N.Y.) College on April 2… Had a 4-for-5 outing against King’s (Pa.) College on April 6, scoring four runs… Batted 3-for-5 in each game of a doubleheader against SUNY Plattsburgh on April 10… On the mound, he struck out seven batters and had a 0.64 ERA over 14 innings of work.

Prior to NP: 2009 graduate of North Babylon High School... Led his team to the Suffolk County Championship his senior year.
