Duran starts his second year working within the Athletic Communications Office at SUNY New Paltz ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Duran, a graduate student pursuing his Master’s in Business Administration at the University, shot, edited and produced video content for the Hawks Athletic Communications Office as a student-athlete in 2024-25 and returned to finish his degree while being promoted to Creative Director as a student intern overseeing a team of his peers, guiding the production team in video projects throughout the year while having a hand in the overall visual branding and theme of the 2025-26 season for the Hawks.
As the Creative Director for the Hawks Athletic Communications Production team, Duran ideates, designs and produces digital marketing campaigns for the Athletics Department, while also providing mentorship of a team of student graphic designers, photographers and multimedia producers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing working environment. Additionally, he oversees the design production lifecycle from initial concept to final delivery, managing schedules and art direction.
Prior to SUNY New Paltz, Duran earned his undergraduate degree at Juniata College while also starring for the Eagles Men’s Lacrosse program for four years from 2022 to 2024. He served as a Sports Media Production Intern for the Athletic Communications Office while at Juniata where he shot photos and video and aided in production projects for the College’s athletic media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Youtube.
Duran spent the 2023 season following the National Champion Juniata Women’s Volleyball team throughout the year in pursuit of their second-straight national title in a documentary-like series where he wrote, shot and produced from the concept’s inception, traveling with the team throughout their run.
Additional work includes producing video content as a freelance videographer for Reign Lacross Club and other outlets.
Aiden also loves chicken parm subs, pizza from his home town place Guidos, was an Eagle Scout from Troop 236 in Maybrook, NY where he played the drums and glockenspiel, starred in an acapella group called Voxtones in Valley Central and was a member of Juniata's stunt team.
