Brad Bolton was hired January of 2026 as the Head Women's Soccer Coach for the Hawks ahead of their 2026 fall season. 

Bolton ascended to the helm of the program following the team’s 2025 season where the team was guided by interim head coach Samantha Trimblett who inherited the program from incumbent head coach Mike Eckberg who stepped down in July 2025. Bolton follows Eckberg as the seventh head coach in the program's history. 

Before coming on board at SUNY New Paltz, Bolton worked his last seven years coaching at Manhattan College, where he acted as the Associate Head Coach for the Jasper’s women’s soccer program. He also boasts coaching stints at Yale University, Iona University, Concordia College and Central Methodist University.

From 2012-2015, Bolton garnered experience on the semi-professional pitch as the assistant coach for the United Premier Soccer League’s New York Magic. With the Magic, Bolton coached four All-Northeastern Conference Selections, a Goalkeeper of the Year Nominee and had three players that went on to sign professional contracts.
 
Bolton also has more than 10 years of club coaching experience with programs such as the New York Rush Patriots, Quickstrike FC, and most recently, Monroe Woodbury United FC.
 
Bolton graduated from Central Methodist University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s in of Science in Biology. He also holds a Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership with Distinguished Honors from Colorado State Global.
