Devin Drew joined the SUNY New Paltz Sports Medicine staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in August 2025.
Prior to joining SUNY New Paltz, Drew gained collegiate athletic training experience at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where she worked with the Engineers' NCAA Division I men's ice hockey and Division III baseball programs. She assisted with rehabilitation planning, manual therapy, and sideline coverage during her time in Troy.
Drew also gained extensive clinical experience while attending SUNY Cortland, working with the Red Dragons' women's soccer, men's ice hockey, baseball and football programs. Her additional clinical experience included stops at Solvay High School, UHS Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Clinic, Upstate Bone and Joint DME and Hudson Valley Community College.
Drew earned both her Master of Science in Athletic Training in 2025 and Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2023 from SUNY Cortland. She previously earned an Associate of Arts in Physical Education from Hudson Valley Community College in 2021.
A Certified Athletic Trainer, Drew is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association. She also holds certifications and training in Mental Health First Aid for Higher Education, CPR/AED, bloodborne pathogens, naloxone administration and mandated reporting.
