Wilson begins her career at SUNY New Paltz as the Assistant to the Senior Director of Athletic Communications, Marketing & Social Media ahead of the 2024-25 academic year.
Wilson comes to SUNY New Paltz following a graduate assistantship in the Sports Information Office at SUNY Brockport where she oversaw the social media accounts, created content such as media days, graphics, photos and fun videos for SUNY Brockport Athletics social feeds in 2023.
Wilson's addition comes off the heels of SUNY New Paltz being awarded the NCAA Ethnic Minorities and Women's Internship Grant, which funds minority and gender representation in full-time, entry-level athletics administrative positions for two academic years.
A Washingtonville, NY native, Wilson swam collegiately at SUNY Brockport and was offered a position as a Graduate Assistant to the Sports Information Office.
Wilson earned her bachelor's degree in journalism and broadcasting, with a concentration in media production and minor in graphic design. Also, she received her master's degree in athletic administration from SUNY Brockport.
