Senior guard Maggie Farrell helped lead the Hawks to a 2-1 record on the week. Farrell netted 11 points, eight rebounds, two assists and three steals in the win over Mount Saint Mary College. It was the first victory over The Mount since the 2000-01 season. In the opening round of the Rino’s Pizza Tip-Off Tournament, Farrell netted a team-high 21 points and had eight rebounds. With seconds remaining in the second overtime, Farrell drove to the hoop and hit the game-winning shot to give the Hawks an 80-78 (2OT) over Tufts University. In the championship game, she had 14 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals. She was named to the All-Tournament Team.
