SUNY New Paltz Athletics

Dauernheim helped New Paltz win the York College Men’s Volleyball Classic, as the Hawks went 4-0 on the weekend with victories over the New York City College of Technology, New Jersey City University, Mount Olive College and York (N.Y.) College. He averaged 1.80 digs on the week (27 total), which included a 12-dig performance in the Hawks’ thrilling 3-2 win over Mount Olive on Saturday. As a result of his standout presence on the back row, he was named the Tournament MVP. On the season, he boasts 91 digs (1.47 per set) and has just 15 receiving errors. New Paltz is 16-10 overall (3-6 UVC).
