SUNY New Paltz Athletics

Cordini provided the game-winning goal as sixth-seeded New Paltz defeated No. 3 The College at Brockport on Saturday in the quarterfinal round of the SUNYAC Men's Soccer Championship Tournament. Cordini's goal advances the Hawks past the quarterfinal round of the tournament for the first time since 2004.  For the year, Cordini has five goals and two assists for 12 points. New Paltz (11-7-1) meets up with SUNY Oneonta in the semifinal round on Wednesday, Oct. 31, with the game time set for 11 a.m.
