Senior forward Matt Devine averaged 24 points and six rebounds per game in a 1-1 week for the Hawks. He provided 20 of the Hawks' 47 points in Tuesday's loss at Cortland, adding five rebounds on the night. He led the Hawks in Friday's victory over Oneonta, scoring 28 points and pulling down seven boards to help New Paltz clinch a berth into the 2013 SUNYAC Men's Basketball Championship Tournament. Friday's effort marks the fourth consecutive game in which Devine netted 20 points or greater. The SUNYAC's third-leading scorer, Devine leads the Hawks with 20.9 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. New Paltz heads to Geneseo to take on the Blue Knights in the quarterfinal round of the 2013 SUNYAC Men’s Basketball Championship Tournament tomorrow, Feb. 19.
