Huertas moved to 2-0 on the season on Tuesday, throwing 7 1/3 scoreless innings in a 7-0 win over Otterbein University in the Hawks' final game at the Snowbird Classic in Port Charlotte, Fla. He had two strikeouts and permitted just five hits in the contest. For the season, Huertas has a 0.61 ERA in 14 2/3 innings pitched. He also has struck out nine batters and has held opponents to a .204 batting average. New Paltz (8-11, 0-3 SUNYAC) returns to the diamond on Wednesday, March 26, at Vassar College.
