Mancuso was the first finisher for the team at the Paul Short Run Brown Race 6K hosted by Lehigh University with her time of 22:37, averaging 6:04 a mile, for 34th overall of 360 runners.
The Hawks, the No. 10 team in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Atlantic Region, averaged a time of 23:06 on the 6K course and defeated several nationally and regionally ranked squads along the way.
New Paltz finished ahead of the No. 31 team in the nation, Bates College (ranked No. 5 in the New England Region), as well as a slew of regionally ranked programs. The Hawks defeated the No. 6 and No. 7 teams in the Mideast Region, Swarthmore College and Susquehanna University, as well as the No. 7 team in the New England Region, Connecticut College.
