Gonzalez scored four goals and had one assist in a 1-0-1 week for the Hawks. He netted a game-tying goal in the 40th minute against Buffalo State on Friday afternoon, helping New Paltz tie the Bengals, 1-1. Gonzalez then had a hand in every New Paltz goal in a 4-1 triumph over SUNY Fredonia on Saturday, netting three goals and adding an assist in the Hawks' season finale. For the season, he is tied for third in the SUNYAC in goals scored with 10 and is third in the conference in points (23). New Paltz finished its season at 5-11-2 overall (1-6-2 SUNYAC).
