Williams stretched his hitting streak to eight games in a 2-3 week for the Hawks. For the week, he batted .375 (9-for-24) with five runs scored, three doubles, three RBI and two triples in addition to stealing two bases in two attempts. He also fashioned a .960 fielding percentage, registering 23 putouts and one assist in 25 total chances. He kicked off the week by going 1-for-5 with one run scored and a double in the team's 9-7 loss to Union (N.Y.) College on Tuesday. On Wednesday against SUNY Oneonta, he batted 1-for-5 with one run scored in a 4-3 setback in 13 innings, while on Saturday in a 5-3 win over SUNY Plattsburgh, he batted 1-for-4 with one run scored in addition to earning a hold by throwing a perfect eighth inning on the mound. Finally, on Sunday, he broke out for a 4-for-5 outing at the plate with three RBI and two triples in a 9-8, game-one win in eight innings over Plattsburgh before batting 2-for-5 with two runs scored and two doubles in the nightcap, which the Hawks lost, 10-5. Williams currently leads the SUNYAC in triples with four, and while he holds an overall batting average of .325, he is hitting .426 in games against SUNYAC opposition.
