SUNY New Paltz Athletics

Vasquez finished 25th out of 231 runners at the Rowan University Border Battle on Saturday in Glassboro, N.J. He covered the 8K course in 25:21.99, averaging a 5:06.2 mile. As a team, New Paltz finished 17th out of 24 teams. The Hawks will spend the next two weeks preparing for the SUNYAC Championships, which will occur on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 12 p.m. at SUNY Plattsburgh.
