SUNY New Paltz Athletics

Koenig participated on three relays that finished among the top three at the St. Pete's Classic on Sunday, helping the Hawks finish third out of five in the final team standings. Koenig uncorked a 21.29 anchor leg on New Paltz's event-winning 200 freestyle relay (1:30.06) before charting a 56.96 split on the Hawks' third-place 300 butterfly relay (2:51.76). He closed out the meet by splitting a 21.25 anchoring New Paltz's second-place 200 medley relay (1:41.79). The Hawks return to action on Friday, Jan. 15, at SUNY Cortland.
