Griger won two individual events in the Hawks' 142-115 loss to SUNY Geneseo in their final tune-up before the SUNYAC Championships on Saturday. She paced the field in both the 200 freestyle (1:56.78) and the 100 freestyle (54.37), and she took second in the 500 freestyle (5:17.18). In addition, Griger swam the anchor leg on New Paltz's second-place 400 freestyle relay (3:40.52) that went under the former pool record. New Paltz (5-2) next competes at the SUNYAC Championships at Erie Community College's Burt Flickinger Aquatic Center in Buffalo, N.Y., from Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 18-20.
