Roemer posted a .564 save percentage and an 8.00 goals-against average in a 2-1 week for the second-ranked Hawks. Roemer finished with 13 saves and four ground balls in the team’s 12-11 loss to Mount Saint Mary College on Wednesday. She then bounced back with a 10-save performance while allowing just three goals in an 18-3 triumph over Penn State Abington on Thursday. On Saturday, she turned aside eight shots in a 15-9 victory over Bard College. On the season, Roemer ranks second in the SUNYAC in saves per game (9.25) and fifth in the conference in save percentage (.487). New Paltz (2-2) next hosts Hartwick College on Wednesday, March 16, at 4:30 p.m.
