Smith hit .600 (9-0-15) and averaged 10.27 assists per set to help the Hawks to a 3-0 week, including 2-0 in UVC action. The senior setter dished out 38 assists, floored three service aces and provided seven digs in the team's 3-0 sweep over Hunter College on Wednesday. On Saturday, Smith contributed 27 assists, three kills and defended three digs in a 3-0 win over No. 9 Elmira College before hitting .667 (4-0-6), doling out 48 assists and defending six digs to help the Hawks defeat No. 10 Vassar College, 3-2. Smith currently stands third among UVC leaders and 10th in the NCAA in assists per set (10.22). The Hawks (26-2, 8-0 UVC) are back in action on Wednesday, March 30, when they travel to Baruch College for a 7 p.m. match-up.
