DePietro hit 2-for-3 with a triple and a sacrifice bunt in a 6-0 setback against The College at Brockport on Friday, and after sitting out game one of Saturday's doubleheader against Brockport due to an injury, he batted from the left side of the plate in game two, going 1-for-2 with two sacrifice bunts and a run scored in a 4-2, 12-inning loss. DePietro finished the year leading the Hawks in hitting (.342) while holding a share of the team lead in home runs (2). New Paltz finished its season at 20-16-2 overall (8-10 SUNYAC), a 13-win improvement from last year.
