MAHWAH, NJ- The SUNY New Paltz women's soccer team fell to host Ramapo College, 1-0 on Tuesday evening.

Ramapo scored in the 60^th minute when Melissa Demko found Rebecca Maccia for the goal.

Bridgitte Hooker (Glen Falls) led the Hawks with two shots and six other players recorded a shot on goal. 

Danielle Gura (Oceanside) recorded the loss in net saving three shots.  The Hawks fall to 0-1-0 on the season.  New Paltz returns to action Saturday, September 5^th against King's College in the University of Rochester Tournament.
