NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – Tuesday basketball will lead the State University of New York at New Paltz women's basketball team to SUNY Oswego to face the Lakers in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) action at 6 p.m. at the Max Zeil Gymnasium.

RECORDS: The Hawks enter Tuesday's game with a 2-9, 0-4 SUNYAC record… Oswego has a 5-7, 1-4 record.
 
SCOUTING THE HAWKS (2-9, 0-4): The Hawks will look to rebound from a tough weekend of play against Cortland and Oneonta at the Hawk Center… On Saturday, Oneonta broke away from a tight contest with a 23-2 run to close out the first half en route to a 60-42 victory… Junior guard Ashley Riefenhauser led New Paltz with nine points. Freshman forward Courtney Irby had eight points and a game-best 13 rebounds.
 
STATISTICAL LEADERS: Junior guard Goldie Harrison leads New Paltz in scoring (9.8 ppg), followed by freshman forward Kit Small (8.7 ppg) and junior guard Shannan Walker (7.7 ppg)… Courtney Irby averages 8.4 rebounds per game, fourth best in the SUNYAC… Small averages 5.2 rpg… Harrison's 2.6 steals per game ranks first in the SUNYAC… Senior forward Jeanette Scott averages 1.0 blocks per game, sixth best in the conference… Walker's 1.5 three-pointers made per game is 10th best in the SUNYAC… Walker averages 31.6 minutes per game, eighth best in the SUNYAC.
 
TEAM STATISTICS: The Hawks lead the SUNYAC in offensive rebounds per game (15.3 rpg)… Opponents shoot just 66 percent from the free throw line, which is the fourth best mark in the conference… The Hawks rank sixth in steals per game (10.0 spg).
 
SCOUTING THE LAKERS (5-7, 1-4 SUNYAC): Oswego split its SUNYAC contests last weekend, defeating Fredonia, 73-60, and falling to Buffalo State, 71-60… Oswego has a 5-3 home record… Against Buffalo State, freshman forward Alison Nunziato made a layup with 8:21 remaining to pull the Lakers with one at 56-55, but the Lakers were unable to score for the next 6:22, allowing the Bengals to open an 11-point lead, 66-55, with 2:19 left to play.
 
STATISTICAL LEADERS: Senior guard Jenn Robbins leads the Lakers in scoring (17.1 ppg), followed by sophomore guard Heather Hebert (13.7 ppg)… Hebert leads in rebounding (10.4 ppg)… Robbins averages 3.1 assist per game… She also leads in steals 1.6 spg…
 
TEAM STATISTICS: The Lakers average 68.8 ppg, fourth best in the SUNYAC… Oswego shoots 41 percent from the floor, third best in the conference and rank second from three-point distance (35 percent)… The Lakers top the league in three-pointers made per game (7.1).
